The Number One Way to Get Free Traffic and Backlinks (Launching Your Website to Google Page One!)

There is a way to get free traffic and backlinks to your website, launching yourself to the first page in Google organic search results within a very short period of time. But it does take some work, there are no free lunches. With that said, if you are very dedicated and take it upon yourself to make it work by setting a goal to employ this method on a consistent basis, you can compete with and surpass the big boys of the web. The playing ground does indeed become more level.

You’ve probably heard or read that writing articles is a very effective way to get free targeted traffic to your website. Yes, it is, but that is just the start. Writing articles is great, but it is slow going until you give it some oomph! The conventional method of article writing usually requires pounding them out in large numbers (depending upon the competition for your keywords) to pole vault yourself to where you eventually want to be in search engine rankings. Please don’t be disheartened. Anything worthwhile is worth the effort, and you feel better about it anyway when you reach the top of the mountain. Later in this article I Will get to an amazing discovery I recently made that helped buoy me up and not get discouraged with article writing.

In the meantime, I want to share with you one of the “baby steps” that helped me get to the number one search result on Google’s Local Search. It was quite easy for me to even beat a major competitor for my chosen keywords. In just one day I achieved number one (two or three in some cases) in Google’s Local Search for 3 or 4 quality keywords. I ranked number one for an item that is in huge demand right now all across the country. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Local Search, hurry and familiarize yourself with it!

Why is it important to gain exposure to Local Search? Because Yellow Pages is a museum relic. Oh yes, some people do still use it, but most now turn to exactly where you are right now– the internet! They type in something like “furniture Sacramento” (or wherever they live) to get listings of the most popular furniture stores in their locale. It ain’t alphabetical, baby, it’s dog eat dog, just like the rest of the net, and you getting up there in the Local Search Results can really help you.

How I did this, and how you can too, is quite elementary. But I found that not many people in my niche were doing it. I first signed up for Google Local Business Center. Then I walked through the set up process which is pretty self explanatory (it is free, by the way). I didn’t have a physical location so I got a P.O. Box, which is advised to do by Google if you don’t have a location. The part that not many of my competitors were doing was posting pictures (I bought several from off of the internet that were applicable to my products). I also made a short 6 minute video and put it on YouTube. That was quite easy to do also. I just had a friend teach a simple skill that is helpful and pertinent to my niche. I then downloaded the YouTube video to Google Local Search. Besides all of this, I put the web address of a free E-book I found on the internet into the coupon category, stating the coupon was good for one free and immediately downloadable E-Book pertinent to my niche. Get creative like this, and you’ll find many ways to get you traffic!

I hope this helped you think of things you can do to get you further to your goal of mounting the Google mountain. If you don’t think Local Search will help, think again. And then do the same thing for Yahoo’s version of it. Borrow a camcorder if you have to. I think the biggest thing is overcoming the obstacle of doing something you haven’t done before and think might be hard. You have momentum in not having done it up to this point, but you can change that, take a “baby step,” and the momentum you have started by doing these simple things will really get the ball rolling in the right direction!

One Team Matrix Launch Review – “Is This a Legitimate Business Opportunity?”

One Team Matrix is a new business opportunity now in launch and is based in a matrix compensation affiliate program. The opportunity states that “we will drive massive traffic to your business month after month until your matrix is complete.” So how do they do this and can you truly create a massive income with this business? Here is a simple review of OTM.

One Team Matrix has just launched and is a multilevel marketing based business opportunity on the Internet. The product is the business opportunity itself and the co-op advertising that is shared through the paid monthly membership. There are many opportunities like this online that create a sense of “get rich quick” online, but the fact remains that success with this type of business will come through solid Internet marketing strategies.

The compensation plan is based on a forced matrix structure that creates about $2.50 for every individual that is recruited. This system would allow for many to believe that they need not to put forth any effort into marketing and recruiting. Even though the member is sharing in paid for advertising on the Internet, this does not guarantee any traffic whatsoever. Through co-op advertising it is a fact that this form of paid Internet marketing is one of the most competitive and low conversion rate platforms of marketing on the Internet.

One Team Matrix is a legitimate business opportunity that will in the end require much effort and solid marketing tactics to truly drive enough traffic to create a truly substantial income. For those of us who have found success online this has come through a comprehensive training platform and one on one mentoring and coaching in Internet marketing.

Why You Need to Pre-launch Your Next Product

Have you noticed that most of the big product launches lately have first gone through a “pre-launch” phase? Have you ever wondered why?

I decided to give pre-launch a try on my latest product release, Article Builder, to see if a pre-launch really does sell more product. The numbers are in, and let me tell you, the pre-launch made a huge difference in my bottom line.

Pre-Launching Creates Buzz

Pre-launching a product means letting people know about the product 30 to 60 days ahead of the actual date that they can purchase the product. There is nothing new about doing this. Movie studios for years have heavily advertised their films many months before you can go see them. Recording artists often advertise their upcoming albums well before they can be purchased.

Letting people know ahead of time about your product creates buzz. It gets people talking about the product in the forums and to their friends and family. This causes more people to go to your pre-launch site to read about it, and builds anticipation for the actual release date.

Pre-Launching Allows For User Input

In the case of software products, pre-launching gives you a chance to show people how the product works and get feedback on it. For Article Builder, I collected as many opinions and comments as I could on the software during the 30 day pre-launch phase. I applied many of the suggestions prior to launching, so that by the time it actually launched, it was three times as good as what I had first created!

There is no better way to sell a product than to find out exactly what your customer base wants, and then sell it to them! Making the product the absolute best it can be before the actual sales date ensures a much higher conversion rate and a lot more sales.

Pre-Launching Helps You Build A List

If you supply a “subscribe for more information” box on your pre-launch page, then people who want to get more information or be notified when the product actually launches are added to your email list. This is great for keeping them up to date about coming changes and improvements in your product up to launch date.

To make sure you get the most number of subscribers, be sure and give them a reward for giving out their email address. With Article Builder I sent people the URL to a video where they could watch the software in action, if they were willing to get on the pre-launch list.

The benefits of having the person on that list doesn’t stop after the product launches, however. Even if the person chose not to buy, you can still send other offers their way that they may take you up on. It’s a great way to continue to earn from people who may have not even purchased your pre-launch product!

For Article Builder I was able to get over 2,000 people on the email list! You can imagine how that has helped me in selling additional back-end products. So you certainly will want to offer an opt-in box on the pre-launch page.

Summing It All Up

These are great reasons to pre-launch your next product: it creates buzz, it allows you to get feedback and improve the product, and it builds an email list of people interested in the subject area. All three are key points that boost your bottom line.
